About Me

I'm Pablo Cleveland Ortega, a researcher at the DICE Lab, Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal in Portugal. I hold two doctorates — in Computer Engineering (Universidad del País Vasco) and Systems Engineering (Universidad de Chile) — along with a Master's in Operations Management and a Bachelor's in Mathematics.

My work spans mathematical modeling, optimization, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. I enjoy building practical tools that make complex ideas tangible — from interactive scheduling demos to research prototypes that bridge academia and industry.

I've taught engineering and mathematics courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and have consulted for organizations across mining, logistics, and industrial operations.
